In addition to production coding, she has an extensive background in coding and auditing management, CDI leadership, compliance, and revenue cycle management. Danita has performed coding and compliance audits for the Department of Justice, quality improvement organizations, and multiple hospitals nationwide, as well as physician office HCC coding audits. She is cochair of the ACDIS CDI Educators Group (2022–2024) and an active member of AHIMA and AAPC. She has developed thousands of hours of coding, compliance, and CDI-related content and provided in-person education to physicians, clinicians, and coders across the country.
